Pick –Mioveni Too Won
Category- Romania Cup
Odds started to rise on Dacia Mioveni, but I don't see a real reason for this. Maybe because Voluntari won a friendly game against second division side Metalul Resita (9-1), but at the moment Resita seems to be a team with problems as many are in the second league. Yes, it's a difference between the first and second division in Romania, but having in mind the current situation I think the home side can make a good match.
Voluntari shock after sacking Florin Marin was not good at all. It was a strange decision anyway because the team have not played bad under him. Florin Marin said some experienced players wants him out because they have not played enough under him in their opinions. The board decided to sack him, but the results were still poor under interim coach Dinu Todoran. He's still in charge. So the atmosphere is not good at all and I don't think the inexperienced Dinu Todoran can't keep the dressing room as it should.
The home side have some decent players in their squad including their veteran Brazilian striker Roberto Ayzo. He still playing well. Mioveni produced a shock in the previous round of the competition by eliminating Steaua and with the same commitment they can make another big surprise.Good Luck
Pick – Argentina Too Won
Category- SOUTH AMERICA: World Cup – Qualification
Bolivia never had real chances of progressing further to the World Cup competition, but after their 1:0 loss away from home few days ago against Colombia, their chances are way below reality now. After thirteen rounds played, Bolivians have two victories, a draw and seven losses, being also worst offense in South America with just ten goals scored.
They are second from the bottom with seven points earned, which is just a point more than Venezuela, but also thirteen less than Ecuador which is placed on fifth, play-off position. They were limited to a very defensive role against Colombia and theretened extremely little in that match, however Colombians were struggling to score and only managed in 83rd minute via Rodriguez after missed penalty.
In comparison to previous few call-ups, the side can’t count at defenders Luis ALberto Gutierrez (45/0, Bolivar), Marvin Bejarano (35/0, The Strongest), Edward Zenteno (33/0, Jorge Wilstermann), midfielders Rudy Cardozo (37/5, Bolivar), Walter Flores (35/1, Bolivar), Joselito Vaca (56/2, Blooming) and forward Yasmani Duk (15/1, Al-Ettifaq).
Argentina, on the other side, comes from a narrow 1:0 victory against Chile on Thursday night, as the team now stands third at the table with twenty-two points more, two more than sixth placed Chile (position that will not be going to World Cup play-offs). This means that the Argentinians remain in a must win situation here as any other result would probably bring them back in a really difficult situation.
They entered the game better and took the lead from a penalty kick taken by Messi in 16th minute, while the game itself wasn’t very interesting with both teams risking little, while the hosts were probably satisfied with the result and left the ball possession to Chileans a bit more than what they usually would.
In comparison to previous few call-ups, the side isn’t counting at defenders Nicolas Otamendi (44/3, Manchester City) due suspension, midfielders same as Javier Mascherano (136/3, Barcelona), Lucas Biglia (49/1, Lazio) and striker Gonzalo Higuain (68/31, Juventus). Injured are defenders Pablo Zabaleta (58/0, Manchester City), Martin Demischelis (51/2, Malaga), midfielders Erik Lamela (23/3, Tottenham) and Javier Pastore (27/2, PSG).
Argentinians aren’t in their best form and they are missing few important players – Bolivians miss too. Despite all the negativity in Argentina’s performances, I still see them here as clear favorites for this one. Competitive motive is on their side while they have much more of individual quality without any doubt.

Pick – Poland Too Won//FT// 1-2
Category- EUROPE: World Cup – Qualification
Montenegro have a couple of good players, but in general most of the squad is average. Hosts have problems because their best striker Jovetic is a major doubt. Experienced centre-back Marko Basa is doubtful as well. Interesting fact is that Mirko Vucinic returned to national team. However, it's hard to expect him to be in good form as he didn't play in NT since 2015. Poland are on top of group E with 10 points. Poles started qualifications in disappointing way, with a 2:2 away draw against Kazakhstan, but then they have won the next 3 matches. In their last qualifying game Poland put a strong performance and comfortably beat Romania (3:0) on the road. Defensive midfielder Krychowiak withdrew from the squad with injury, but he was not in good shape anyway. In my opinion Poland are favourites of this encounter.
Pick –Italy Too Won//FT// 2-0
Category- EUROPE: World Cup – Qualification
Italy took a convincing 4:0 victory last time out in qualifiers away to Liechtenstein, as the team showed great superiority from the first minute and sealed the three pointer already inside the first halftime. Goals were scored by Belotti twice, Immobile and Candreva, as the Italians lowered down the tempo and saved some energy later on.
After this victory, Italy remained being second with three victories and a draw, sharing the leading position with Spain, while Israel remains with a point less only with Albanians having six points so far – which means that this is surely a must win situation for the hosts. After that game, they had a friendly match at home against Germany staying to a goalless draw.
In comparison to previous squad, some well known names like defender Giorgio Chiellini (90/7, Juventus), midfielders Claudio Marchisio (54/5, Juventus), Riccardo Montolivo (64/2, Milan), Thiago Motta (30/1, PSG), with midfielder Federico Bernardeschi and forward Manolo Gabbiadini pulling out from the squad in last moment.
Albania started their qualifying path well with two victories, over FYR Macedonia at home and on the road against Liechtenstein with two modest victories but still three pointers, but the team disappointed a bit in next two matches – losing in front of own fans against Spain 0:2, but also in the last round in Novemeber against Israel 0:3 also at home.
With these two defeats, Albania now already has four points less than the leading duo and will need to make a huge surprise away from home and make a “break” in order to get back into the match. Their game against Israel went completely wrong, with the hosts remaining with a man less already in 17th minute via Djimsiti who committed a penalty foul with Zahavi bringing the guests into the lead from penalty kick just a minute later. Home side stood with two men less when Berisha got red card, while the guests sealed the victory with goals from Einbinder and Atar, missing few more chances in the progress.
Goalkeeper Etrit Berisha (43/0, Atalanta) is suspended now, same as defender Berat Djimsiti (12/1, Avellino). Injured are defender Mergim Mavraj (34/3, Hamburger SV), midfielders Ermir Lenjani (24/3, Rennes), Ergys Kace (18/2, PAOK) and forward Edgar Cani (16/4, Pisa).
Everything seems pretty much obvious here. There certain individual quality that speaks for the home side, while without any doubt, Italians seem to be also in a better momentum. With two important defensive players being suspended, I don’t see plenty of chances for Albanian side to remain competitive in this one.
Pick-Japan Too Won//FT// 0-2
Category- WC 2018 Qual. Asia
Japan have not started very well the qualifiers with that home defeat against UAE, but after that were 3 wins and a draw on the road against Australia. They have lost that match against UAE as I have said before, but they were the better team. Was the same old problem with creating a lot of goal scoring chances, but couldn't finish them. Also, UAE received some help from the Arab referee Abdulrahman Al Jassim who is from Qatar and led an UAE game. I don't think this time we will see another Arab referee. After that win against Japan, UAE won the home games against Thailland (3-1) and Iraq (2-0), but lost to Saudi Arabia (0-3) and Australia (0-1). Skipper Makoto Hasebe withdrew from the squad due to injury, but Japan still have a very good team. Honda is not playing too much at Milan, but maybe this is a good news for Japan. Hope he will deliver at the national team.
Pick- Over 2.5 Goals
Category- International Friendlies
Germany against England is always explosive derby, even when it comes to friendly game. Germany is hosting this game and the friendly match will be played in Dortmund. This undoubtedly gives some advantage to "Bundesteam" but let's not forget that just a year ago, England beat Germany 3:2 in a friendly game at Olympic Stadium in Berlin. Germany can not count on the injured Manuel Neuer, Mesut Ozil, Mario Gomez and Julian Draksler. It is expected that Germany attack will be led by Podolski, Thomas Muller, Shurle and Sanne.
In Euro 2016 England once again disappointed their fans with a very poor performance. On the second round of the Euro 2016 England were eliminated from the absolute debutante Iceland. Now England is motivated to win the qualifying group and hope for a better performance in World Cup 2018. Gareth Southgate will not be able to count on the injured Phil Jones and Michal Antonio. It is expected England attack to be led by Rashford, Stirling and Vardy. Since Southgate led the team defense of England has improved significantly. In their last 5 games England have conceded only 2 goals and they came in a friendly game against Spain in November.
Interesting facts about the game:
Germany has 5 wins and 1 draw in their last 6 games.
England has 3 wins and 2 draws in their last 5 games.
I think Germany can get here, but my bet is over 2.5 goals
Pick- Both teams to score//FT// 2-4
Category- England: League One
League One action for me in a game that will be payed at The Kassam Stadium, Oxford. The game will kick off at 19:45 and will be played between Oxford United and Bolton.
The hosts head into this game with a chance of the play offs, they only joined League One last season when they were promoted from League Two. They have several games in hand on some clubs, so they do have a chance of a play off place if they can get some results together. Oxford’s last few results have been quite inconsistent, they seem to win a game, then lose etc. What stands out to me is their last 4 games has seen BTTS in all 4. They have payed some top teams in the league in recent games, Sheffield United and Scunthorpe being two of them.
Oxford have some good players, players capable of playing in the Championship. However, some of them have took a step down to Oxford in hope of a quick promotion to the Championship. Oxford have goals across the team, they don’t seem to rely one one or two players, they get goals from all players/positions etc.
The visitors of the game are promotion hopefuls Bolton, they have had a great season and have everything capable of a Championship club. They will be desperate to gain automatic promotion, however, it’s very close at the top. Sheffield United are clear of Bolton by 9 points, however, Bolton have a game in hand. Then it’s Fleetwood a point behind Bolton. So the visitors for the game will want to use this game in hand to keep Fleetwood away for a little longer!
Bolton head into the game vs Oxford on the back of three straight wins, vs Fleetwood, Gillingham and Northampton. 4 out of their last 5 games has seen BTTS, I think because they are going for victories every game, they seem to have let their defence slip a little in certain games.
I believe that there is so much pressure on Bolton and Oxford to get a result here tonight that they will both go for the win. Therefore, I’ll be backing BTTS at a price of 1.87 . Good luck all.
Pick-Union Berlin Too Won//FT// 1-0
Category-Germany 2. Bundesliga
Union Berlin are second but with a win here can claim top spot after Stuttgart's loss at Greuther Firth at the weekend. Since the resumption from the winter break, they have won 6 of their last 7 games to climb into second place, and have scored at least two goals in each of these wins. Four of these games have been at home, which they have won each of them, beating both Wurzburger Kickers (12th) and 1860 Munich (13th) 2-0, a 3-1 win over Armenia Bielfield (18th) and a 2-1 win over Bochum (11th).
Nurnberg are 10th, 15 poitns behind third place and of more concern, just none points above the bottom three. Their form has been ordinary, having lost 4 of their last 7 games since the break, and in three away games, have lost 1-0 at Greuther Firth (6th), lost 2-0 at 1860 Munich (13th) but did manage to win at Heidenheim (7th). While Nurnberg have had the better of recent meetings, and they did beat Union Berlin 2-0 in the reverse fixture earlier in the season, can see a much more motivated Union Berlin side, with the opportunity to go top, to win this game, and win it by a couple of goals. Nurnberg lost 3-1 at Stuttgart, so there is another good side that they have lost to. Like the look of a similar result here.
Pick-Lech Poznan Too Won-1 Asian handicap
Lech are in great form this year, they have looked the best team so far. They have won all 6 games they've played while conceding only 1 goal. 5/6 of those wins came by Over 2,5 goals.
Lech are on a good run at home, they showed in the last match they can beat the best sides as they won 1-0 vs Lechia in a tense match. This will of course be a different type of game as Łęczna are the worst team in the league and will surely struggle.
Łęczna as I wrote are the worst team in the division by table and stats. They also have a very old coach in Smuda who doesn't have the best rep. They lost all 3 of the away games under him and conceded 12 goals in those 3. Lech's tittle rivals Lechia, Jagiellonia and Legia won 3-0, 5-0 and 5-0 vs this team at home.
An added factor is its Lech's 95th anniversary on the day of this game, the stadium is already sold out, over 40k fans. Big expectation for a big performance by the team here. I would be very surprised if Lech don't win this game very convincingly. 3-0 is my call.
Pick-Dortmund Too Won//FT// 1-0
Dortmund are 3rd with 43 points. After a four convincing wins, including the one against Benfica in Champions League, Borussia lost to Hertha on Saturday 2:1. Kalou gave hosts the lead in 11th minute, and that was the result at the end of first half in which Hertha had better chances than their visitors. After returning from the break Borussia started to attack more, and it paid off for them in 55th minute, when Aubameyang levelled things up. Visitors were controlling possession and even had some chances, but couldn`t score. In fact, Hertha were the ones to score another one, when Plattenhardt converted an 18-yard free kick with a great shot. Even though Hertha are the best home team in the league, Dortmund surely won`t be satisifed with the result. On Wednesday, they beat third-tier Lotte in DFB Cup 3:0. It was a game in which Dortmund were clear top dogs, and after some struggle in the first half, they did what was expected of them in the second, progressing with a comfortable 3:0 victory. For this game the will be missing suspended Dembele and Gotze, who is ruled out indefinitely, while Reus, Rode, Bender and Weigl are doubtful.
Ingolstadt are 17th with 19 points. They have been struggling whole season and relegation looks to be on the cards or them. However, they did not surrender yet and have been putting up a fight lately. That brought them away win against Frankfurt and a home draw against Koln, in the last four matches. Last time out against Koln, they were equal as their visitors, if not better. Modeste gave Koln the lead after converting a penalty in 15th minute, but Lezcano levelled things up just before the half time. Modeste scored once again in 60th minute, but Ingolstadt didn`t lose their motivation and quickly equalized through Bregerie. There weren`t any clear chances until the end from either side, and the game finished as a draw. Ingolstadt will be without Hartmann for this game.
Dortmund are coming as clear favourites into this match, as they are a much better team, in-form and playing at home. While Leipzig are six points in front of them, which is not that much, Hoffenheim and Hertha are closing the gap behind them, and therefore Borussia must take every game seriously. Ingolstadt will surely be motivated, since they are fighting to stay up, but Westfallen isn`t really a place where they should be looking for points. Ingolstadt has one of the worst attacks in the league, and while there are many teams which are worse than them playing on the road, Borussia is undefeated at home this season. Therefore, Borussia`s win here should be a routine. And considering their good scoring form of late, and determination to bounce back after last week`s loss, they should win here by more than one goal. They have struggled this season when in reality they shouldn`t have, but I think that in this game they will be at the expected level and win by at least two goals.
Pick-Besiktas Too Won//FT// 4-1
Besiktas showed to be very strong and threatening side last week when the team visited Olympiakos in the first leg and took the 1:1 draw, leaving a very good impression of themselves. Greek side did took the lead in the first halftime, but it was somehow agains the flow of the game, while the Turkish side replied in second via Aboubakar in 53rd and remained a side with better movement of the ball on the field.
If any of the teams deserved to score the second that would probably be Besiktas, but the visiting side was probably anyway content with a draw since they are now awaiting the opponent on the own field and could progress even with a goalless game, while it’s very hard to expect Olympiakos to score twice here. Besiktas comes from a 2:2 draw last weekend against Kayserispor, as the side remained first at the table but now with only two points more than second placed Basaksehir.
Forward Demba Ba remains long term absentee, while doubtful for this match is Caner Erkin (6/0) coming from injury and the match probably comes too soon for him. Midfielder Tolgay Arslan (22/0) is suspended for this match having picked up a yellow card in the first leg. Left back Dusko Tosic (17/0) and central defender Marcelo (23/3) are also injury worries.
Olympiakos tried to attack from the off and had some chances, even took the lead in 36th minute with a goal from Cambiasso, but somehow it was obvious that they couldn’t win the battle in the midfield, as the Turkish side leveled up the result at the start of the second halftime and remained with much more of the ball possession later on.
It’s hard to imagine Olympiakos being way more threatening in the second leg, as the side now needs to get a victory or a high scoring draw in order to progress and probably will try to employ some counter attack tactics. As for the domestic league, Olympiakos comes from a home 2:0 victory against Atromitos last weekend, as the side managed to break negative mini-run of three straight defeats and remained first at the table with six points more than second placed Panionios.
Goalkeeper Stefanos Kapino (12/0) is injured, same as defender Bruno Vianna (17/1) and both miss this one. Central defender Alberto Botia (16/2) and forward Seba (22/3) are both probably sidelined with injury problems too.
Besiktas already showed that they are probably a better side and surely in better form at the moment. Greek side will have to risk here as the time progresses and I really can’t see past home victory in this one with still decent odds.
Pick-Over 2,5 goals//FT// 3-2
I think Urawa have good chances to get something from this match, but I can't see them keeping a clean sheet here having in mind the firepower of SIPG. Players like Oscar, Hulk and Elkeson or Wu Lei are able to make the difference in any moment, especially as Urawa are not the best defensive team.
Urawa have a lot of quality up-front as well. They have not the names of SIPG and not a very well know Brazilian, but Rafael Silva is very clinical in front of the goal in this start of the season and he can make the difference for the Japanese side.
Here we have two teams which are playing a good football right now and both have scored a lot so far. I think we'll see a pretty open game with good chances to score for both teams. Hope both teams will take their chances.
Pick-Over 2,5 goals
Kawasaki Frontale seems to have the same approach as they had in the last couple of seasons under Kazama. They are playing in a offensive way. Kawasaki's attack is good, but the team still remains vulnerable at the back. Brazilian attacker Rhayner and defender Nara are both suspended for this. Frontale has also couple of injured players including two of their Brazilian players, wide man Elsinho and centre-back Eduardo. They still have a competitive team despite these absences.
Evergrande are seen as one of the teams who can win ACL this tear. Still, they showed problems at the back in this start of the season. Evergrande started the season with two clean sheets against Jiangsu in the Super Cup and Eastern in the ACL, but after that have conceded a lot in the past 3 games. They have the first chance here anyway as we know their firepower thanks to the Brazilian players.
I think we will see some goals in this match. Both teams are not great at the back, but can be very dangerous going forward.
Pick-Over 2,5 goals//FT// 3-1
Category-FRANCE: Ligue 1
Lazio are currently positioned 5th but just a point away from Inter 4th and a win will put them back at 4th position. They have had a solid record at home throughout the season so far, losing only to Juventus and Roma, and recently to Chievo.Their recent record is WWLDW, they have managed to score in 80% of their home matches and concede in 72%.Only 43% of their home matches have been with over 2.5 goals scored and both teams have scored in 50% of their matches.
On the other side Torino, who were aiming for a place in Europe this season, couldn't bare the competition and ended up 14 points less that 5th place on the 10th place.Torino's recent away form has been DLDLD, winless in their last seven away matches. However, they have managed to score in 72% of their away matches and conceded in 80% of them. Both teams have scored in 64% of the matches and 57% have been over 2.5 goals.
Lazio have an average of 2.8 total goals scored per match.
Torino has an average of 3.5 total goals scored per match.
Lazio has been undefeated at home to any team positioned less than 2nd.(except Chievo).
Torino have scored against all teams positioned in first 8 places in away matches and all matches have ended over 2.5 goals.
Pick--Lion Too won -1 Asian handicap//FT// 4-0
Category-FRANCE: Ligue 1
Lyon had a run of four consecutive victories in all competitions, but didn’t manage to take all three points last time out in Ligue 1, when the side took only a draw in a 1:1 game away to Bordeaux. Their hosts entered the match better and took the lead in sixteenth minute with a goal from Vada, while the visiting side spent a lot of time with the ball to their feet but weren’t that concrete.
Still, they increased the tempo in the second halftime and managed to level up the result in 79th minute with a goal from Mammana, with the guests remaining with ball possession, but without changing the scoreline later on. Lyon remained at fourth position, having just two points than fifth placed Marseille and therefore are in must win situation. During the midweek, they managed to get a victory over Roma in a 4:2 game and earn important advantage ahead of the returning leg in 1/8 finals of Europa League.
Central defender Mouctar Diakhaby (15/1) is suspended for this one, while defensvie midfielder and sometimes left defender Maciej Rybus (16/0) is injured. Right full back Rafael (20/0) is doubtful for this one and his participation will be decided in last moments before the game.
Toulouse, on the other side, disappointed a bit last weekend as the team took only a point in a home game against Lille in a 1:1 draw. They had all the chances to walk away with a victory before the game and even took the lead early, in 30th minute via Jullien but paid the price since they weren’t interested a lot for the match once they took the lead.
Players of Lille had much more of the ball possession later on and dominated the match, deserving the equalizer in 80th minute via Benzia, while the hosts had a chance to steal the victory anyway, but Braithwaite missed the penalty kick in 84th minute. This was six consecutive match without defeat for Toulouse, two victories and four draws, also third draw in a row, as the side remains in the middle of the table having eleven points less than Europa League placed Lyon, but also eight points more than relegating worried sides.
Defender Dusan Veskovac (1/0) is injured and remains long term absentee, as the guests also miss defender Alexis Blin (21/0) and central defender Yrondu Musavu-King (3/0) due injuries. Striker Martin Braithwaite (25/10) is suspended with Jimmy Durmaz probably taking his spot. Midfielder and sometimes right back Clement Michelin (8/0) is doubtful.
Lyon have scored at least 4 goals in their last 3 home matches (Ligue 1).
Lyon have seen over 2.5 goals in 9 of their last 11 matches against Toulouse.
Lyon is playing in a really great form at the moment and I don’t see Toulouse stopping them today on that run. Visitors are in a decent form as well, but don’t have desired quality in attack in order to match much more quality side, which Lyon surely is this time.
Pick-Sevilla Too Won
Sevilla will host Leganes in the match of the 27th round of Spanish Primera.
Sevilla looks great this season, they are even in race for title as they have only 4 points less than first placed Barcelona. In the previous round they failed to beat Alaves, playing 1-1, but still at home ground they are great with 10-1-1 record in Primera this season.
Leganes on the other hand is one of the poorest teams in the league. They managed to win two very important matches lately against La Coruna and Granada so they have escaped from dangerous zone. Still they are very poor away from home where they lost 8 of last 10 matches so I doubt they could do something here.
Sevilla will miss Vitolo for this game, while Leganes will be without Rico, Ramos and Timor.
Sevilla is huge favorite in this game and I think they will win this, but I will be careful and take them with nstead of 1 that I wanted first as they have very important game against Leicester in Champions league this week.
Pick-Magdeburg Too Won//FT// 1-0
Under the floodlights in Magdeburg the team with the same name welcomes Preussen Munster for the round 26 match of the 3.Liga. A solid crowd of 15K will cheer the home side to victory, I hope.On paper this looks like a missmatch but again there have been a lot of surprises after the break. Even with that said Pressen has not shown signs of improvement and are still by far the worst away team in the league.
Magdeburg as well has won just 1 of the last 6 matches and I see this as an opportunity to get them back on track. At home Magdeburg played a draw with Zwickau and lost to Mainz II while have won over Osnabruck. Zwickau and especially Mainz have definitely upped their game recently but the results were a surprise. Against Mainz Magdeburg dominated heavily but failed to convert chances into goals.
Magdeburg is placed second on the table with 39 points but even a loss or two might see them fall into the middle. To win games against such weak teams is imperative and also to get some good mood back.
Munster has a couple of wins lately but on home ground. Away from home they still look oblivious and have lost the last 4 with 3 goals conceded in every match. This brings their away totall to 2-0-10 and 8:23 goal difference. Munster is 18`th on the table with 18 points and are in quite a relegation fight proably till the last rounds.
Two important midfield guys are suspended for Munster: Benjamin Schwarz(mid.19-1) and Michele Rizzi(25-4, second scorer). Also Mangafic(def.7-0) is injured while Kittner(def.12-0) and Kobylanski(att.4-2) are questionable.
For the hosts Tobias Schwede(mid.24-2) is suspended while Hainault (def.2-0), Schiller (def.15-2), Sprenger (def.12-0) are injured.
Not a perfect injury situation for either team.
Magdeburg has positive experiences with Munster in the 3-Liga as all 3 matches were won. I do think Magdeburg will prevail in the end.
Pick- Both teams to score//FT// 1-1
Category-EUROPA: Europa League – Playoff
After difficult road in Europa League group stage and ending at second position being actually tied up with third placed Young Boys, Olympiakos continued well and overpowered Osmanlispor in previous stage with especially well game away from home where they managed to get a 3:0 victory after a goalless game in Pireaus week earlier.
Team from Greece was deadly effective in second halftime and deserved their progress with two goals from Ansarifard and Elyounoussi, but it can’t be said that their players are doing fine in the league at the moment. On contrary, despite their advantage on the table, Olympiakos has suffered three defeats in a row in Greek Superleague (against AEK, Panionios and PAOK) which even led to coach sacking, but still remain favorites to lift the title, having six points more than second placed Panionios with seven matches till the end.
Home team won’t be able to count at defender Bruno Vianna (17/1) who is suspended, while doubtful is other defender, Da Costa (12/0). Injured are goalkeeper Kapino (12/0), midfielder Dominguez (4/1) and forward Seba (22/4).
Besiktas, on the other hand, had a very difficult task in Champions League since the team got drawn together with Napoli, Benfica and Dynamo Kiev, but still the side managed to get the third position and were in fight for the progress till the last round, but then suffered humiliating 6:0 defeat in Ukraine and lost the chances to progress further in the best competition.
They didn’t have very difficult task in the first knockout stage in the Europa League earlier this year, as the side won over Israli Hapoel Beer Sheva on the road 3:1, but also confirmed their progress with 2:1 victory at home. In the domestic league they have three consecutive victories, coming from a narrow 1:0 win over Rizespor at home last weekend. They are first at the table with four points more than second placed Basakshier and remain huge favorites to lift the title too.
Besiktas will not be counting at long term absentee and injured forward Demba Ba who anyway didn’t perform this season for the Turkish side, while doubtful remain midfielder Uysal (8/0) and defender Erkin (6/1).
Open game is what I expect here from both teams, since the Greek team knows that they aren’t having plenty of chances in the second leg, while they also really need to respond after poor results in the domestic league. They are maybe slight favorites, but I see the Turkish team scoring here as well, without any doubt they have plenty of quality in offense.
Pick- Dortmund Too Won//FT// 4-0
DortmundVSBenfica Dortmund – Benfica
Dortmund lost 1-0 in the first leg even though they created a lot of chances, they did not manage to score. That was the first game in the Champions League this year that Dortmund was not able to score.Dortmund is the favorites to qualify despite the 1 goals deficit.
They have been in a great form since these two sides last met by winning three matches in a row and scoring 12 goals. They also kept clean sheets in two matches out of three.Roys, Gotze, Bender will be missing but the team still stands strong and can pull this one without them.
On the other side, Benfica trying to get at least a draw on this one and qualify, will try to score an early goal in order to position themselves more comfortably and make their oppositions life harder. They have won all their last six matches however, they have lost 2/last 5 away matches. In Champions League they have also not shown consistency away by having 1L1D1W in their away matches.
I expect Dortmund to win this one as continuing further in Champions League is their main goal, they are a team that is really motivated at home and the fans are extremely supportive.
I think that Dortmund will qualify by winning with a two-goal margin within 90 minutes so my pick for this one is ..Dortmund Too won
Pick- Over 2,5 goals//FT// 1-3
The first leg ended in a 3-1 win for Real Madrid, so over 3.5 goals winning. Napoli still have a chance and despite being well second best in Madrid they did have a few more chances to score and are certainly a threat going forward.
Naples is a very tough place for any team to go, they have beaten some big names here recent years, the likes of Dortmund, Chelsea, Man City, Juventus, all went down here in the last few years.
Napoli saw over 3.5 goals in 2/3 of their group games at home, they conceded 2 vs Benfica and 3 vs Besiktas, Real Madrid could well score a few goals here aswell given the situation. Napoli will have to attack knowing they need to score minimum 2 goals, this will leave allot of chances for Real on the counter which they love to play.
Real scored 3+ in their last 3 games and all 3 went over 3.5 goals. In the group stage they went over 3.5 in 2/3 away games, also conceding lots like Napoli, 1 in Lisbon, 2 in Dortmund and 3 in Warsaw.
All in all given the stakes and state of play after the first leg I think goals are the only angle to take in this one, I expect a highly entertaining match.
Pick- Chelsea Too Won//FT// 1-2
Category-England Premier League
– West Ham is average team in league, against the strongest teams of the league have a very bad ratio.
– At home have a ratio of: 5-3-5
– Chelsea away from home has a ratio of: 8-3-2
– Chelsea for this match dont have problems with players absences.
– In West Ham will be absent these players; Antonio (key ML), Ogbonna (DF), Arbeloa (DF), the Torah (ML). Carroll key striker is doutful.
Possible lineup West Ham: Randolph, Antonio, Fonte, Reid, Cresswell, Noble, Obiang, Feghouli, Snodgrass, Lanzini, Carroll
Possible lineup Chelsea: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill; Moses, Kante, Matic, Alonso; Pedro, Costa, Hazard
For me Chelsea is strong favorite, and I expect a routine victory.
Pick- Over 2,5 Goals//FT// 2-2
Category-NETHERLANDS: Eerste Divisie
After a run of really poor results in Eredivisie and exclusion from Dutch Cup, Heerenveen managed to respond with much better performance in front of own fans against Roda last weekend celebrating 3:0 victory. They were better from the first minute as the players of Roda stood really defensive minded and extremely passive but the hosts could score only once the visitors stood playing with a man less.
Defensive midfielder El Makrini got excluded in 54th, while the hosts increased their tempo and domination even further, managing to open the scoreline in 60th via Schmidt, but also to seal the victory with two more goals in last minutes of the game, via Veerman and Ghoochennejhad from a penalty kick. After this three pointer, they managed to stay inside the play-off zone, having thirty-six points earned which is just a point more than out of play-off placed Twente meaning that they need a victory here badly.
Home team should be playing in 4-3-3 formation using Larsson, Zeneli and Ghoochannejhad as forwards. Defensive midfielder Stijn Schaars (14/1) is injured, while Jeremias St Juste and Pelle van Amersfoort came back from suspension.
Go Ahead Eagles, on the other side, suffered 1:3 defeat in front of own fans against Vitesse last weekend, which was their second consecutive loss as they previously lost on the road to Roda. Even though they had a bit more of the ball possession than the players of Vitesse, they got completely outplayed on the field and deserved the defeat.
Guests took the lead in 29th minute via van Wolfswinkel, doubling up the lead at the start of the second halftime via Foor and sealing the victory in 80th minute via Rashica. Players of Go Ahead Eagles only managed to reduce the deficit in 88th via Crowley and didn’t deserve more than that. The team is now at sixteenth position at the table, having just a point less than safely placed Roda, but also just a point more than rock bottom placed Den Haag. Away from home they have 1-3-8 record and it will be really hard for them to get something here.
Visitors will be playing most likely in 4-2-3-1 formation, with Hendriks as central striker and Antonia, Crowley and Manu as offensive midfielders. They won’t be able to count at midfielder Chris David who anyway didn’t perform so far, but also at right full back Lars Lambooij (6/0) and midfielder Tom Daemen (3/0) due injuries.
Heerenveen are undefeated in their last 12 matches against Go Ahead Eagles.
Heerenveen have scored at least 2 goals in 5 of their last 6 matches against Go Ahead Eagles.
Heerenveen finally managed to get a victory after a run of six official matches without one and come here with a boosted morale. I don’t see plenty of chances for the visiting side not only to walk away with something, but neither to actually stay competitive for the entire game.
Pick- Atletico Madrid Too Win
Category- Spain LaLiga
Deportivo looked really poor last weekend away from home against Leganes, as the team had all the chances to walk away with something before the game, but stood defeated with 4:0 result, showing really poor performance in the defense. Players of Leganes were that better, but simply looked way better in offense and it wasn’t hard for them to reach these four goals scored.
Hosts had the double lead after thirty minutes, with goals from Szymanowski in 19th minute and Mantovani in 30th minute, while everything got worse for visitors from 62nd minute on, when Albentosa got red carded, while the home team managed to score two more goals in last ten minutes, via Lopez and Bueno. Deportivo is now just above the relegation zone having two points more than red zone placed Gijon and the team will need to respond with positive performances very soon.
Deportivo La Coruna should be playing in 4-2-3-1 formation, probably using Andone as central striker, plus Kakuta, Colak and Gil as offensive midfielders. Central defender Raul Albentosa (19/1) is suspended for this one, while central midfielder Celso Borges (22/5) remains doubtful.
Atletico Madrid, after a run of three consecutive victories in LaLiga, suffered a 1:2 defeat in front of own fans against Barcelona. That match was a great chance for the side to get involved more into the race for top three positions and direct placement into the Champions League next season, but the side failed and will need to fight till the end for their fourth position and placement into the qualifiers stage.
The team is now fourth as said, with the team having same number of points as fifth placed Real Sociedad, meaning that they need get a victory here. Away from home they are undefeated in last four with two victories and two draws, but need to improve further more.
Visitors from Madrid are set to play in 4-4-2 formation, using Gameiro and Griezmann as forwards. Midfielders Tiago (13/1) and Augusto Fernandez (3/0) are injured. Midfielder Saul Niguez (21/2) is suspended for this one, while right full back Juanfran (17/0) remains doubtful.
Atletico have kept a clean sheet in 5 of their last 7 matches against Deportivo.
After few poor weeks, Atletico seems to be playing just fine now, especially when talking about their improvement in attack. Deportivo is far away from their good form and I don’t see the home team stopping way more quality opponent. Visitors need to respond here after their defeat in the previous round and should recorded easier victory here.
Pick- Barselona Too win end over 2,5 goals//FT// 6-1
Category- Spain LaLiga
BarcelonaVSSporting-Gijon I will be short here, the best defense at home against one of the worst attacks on the road, Sporting Gijon have failed to win 19 of their last 21 matches and it is really very unlikely to happen today.
The visitors will have one eye on their weekend match against Deportivo, their boss rested some players ahead of this match, midfielders Gomez (best assist man), 2°scorer Carmona and def Canella were not called while def Mere' 19/0 is suspended;
about Barca as reported by their official website
"The big news is the return of Javier Mascherano to the Barça squad after injury. Arda Turan has also been given the medical all clear but is not among the names announced on the morning of the match. Also missing are the injured Aleix Vidal and Jérémy Mathieu, while there is no room for Jordi Masip."
As usual Barcelona will command the match and win comfortably.
Category- Scotland Championship
Both sides are going into this one on the back of a defeat, this will be the 3rd meeting between the teams this season, with Raith taking four of a possible six points to date.
Both team are in poor form, Ayr are winless since mid-October and are 2nd from the bottom, Raith are 4pts above hosts and are without a win since end-October.
About team news, the hosts will be heavily depleted as mid kp Docherty is suspended while Murphy def 7/0, mid Crawford 18/3, mid Adams 16/2 + 2g are out with injuries, def Boyle 17/2 is doubtful; Raith have been left without a single fit gk are at the moment it is not clear who will play in goal.
This clash is a potential six-match pts, i expected both sides find the net at least once each also considering the team news.
Pick- Over 2,5 goals//FT// 3-1
Category- England Premier League
I won't be surprised by massive vote down but I would still go with this. Leicester sacked their manager and It's expected that the players make a reaction here. The terrible stats that I also expect they would end tonight is their run of 6 league games without a goal. Very bad for a premier league champion.
Liverpool won their last game against Spurs. There was indeed more urgency for the win so they had to control the game even after going 2-0 up within the first 20 mins. That's 1 win in last 6 games across all competition so I am not convinced they can take the points easily.
I would be taking goals in this one. Liverpool stand a chance of cutting into the top 4 places with a win here. I expect them to be ready for the challenge. Leicester are already in the drop zone and I would be surprised if they come to defend. Liverpool games average 3.4 goals per game with Leicester, its 2.7. At least 3 goals expected. Over 2.5 goals has paid off in 56% of Liverpool games and It increases to 64% with Leicester. With no key misses to either side; expect goals in this one.
Pick- Manchester Utd Too Win//FT// 3-2
Category- England League Cup
Manchester-UtdVSSouthampton Manchester United come into this encounter as strong favorites at Jose Mourinho aims to win his 4th League Cup after leading Chelsea to 3 of them in his 5 collective years in charge. Manchester United have been in tremendous form winning 5 straight games in all competitions while also losing just 1 game in their last 24 in all competitions; showcases the great form that they are in. Manchester United just went through 3 great performances in knockout competitions beating Blackburn, and St Etienne twice which will have got them in good rhythm as they take on Southampton in this encounter who haven't played since the past 2 weeks. Manchester United have established some strong performances under Mourinho who selects players only who are in form and not let names dominate his team sheet. A key forward named Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in great form netting 5 times in his last 5 games, and would like to add his first trophy in England to his cupboard.
Southampton come into this game with a lot of injuries in their ranks as the lies of Boufal, van Dijk, Austin, McCarthy and Targett are missing from this encounter. Defensively, they have been quite leaky ever since the sale of Fonte conceding 10 goals in their last 4 games alone. All the goal scoring duties for Southampton lie solely in the hands of Gabbidani, Long and Redmon who have netted a few in recent times. Southampton have been quite streaky in recent times, while they had progressed and stayed in the top half of the table for a while, slipped down to 11th winning only 2 out of their last 8 Premier League games against poor Sunderland and Leicester sides
These 2 sides met earlier in the season with Manchester United recording a solid 2-0 victory and will be aiming to replicate a similar solid performance. Manchester United know that victory is critical for them to secure a Europa League spot; so that they can play really attacking and risky football to try and steal a Champions League spot. I expect United's experience and Mourinho's tactics of playing big finals to be the leading benefit; and Manchester United to win this game in 90 minutes.
Pick- Leverkusen Too Win
Category- Germany Bundesliga
Leverkusen seem to be determined to get back on the top table, after a series of missed results, they have now 2 consecutinve wins, scoring 6 goals in 2 matches.
they have won 3-0 with Frankfurt and 3-1 away with Augsburg and now they are meeting Mainz who must not be so happy after losing last round to Werder Bremen.
Moreover, Mainz has only 7 points from their away matches and only 8 goals scored. Not a very good record, and they do not have the same good season like last year.
I think home team will take advantage of their scoring form and put the ball in the net more than once here. Not sure if Mainz is able to do much, maybe score also but I do not see them take any point here.
Levercusen has lost enough points at home with Inglostad and even Gladbach (when they led 2-0 and lost 2-3) so I think they won't afford another wrong step.
Home win should land here, maybe even Home -1.
I will take the odds for win as they will drop for sure until the match starting hour.
Pick-Arka Gdynia Too Win//FT// 3-1
Category- Poland Ekstraklasa
Arka Gdynia made some good transfers in the window, players like Barisić, Formella and Trytko are solid for them. Mainly Barisić and Trytko are strikers who can score which was one of Arka's biggest problems so far.
Arka lost both games this year by 1-0 scores but very tough games in Lubin and at home to Legia, in all truth they weren't expected to get anything but were competitive in both games.
Korona have a very bad away record and its pretty much like that every season, so far they lost 8/11 away games, failed to score in 7/11 away games. Lately they have lost 6 of the last 7 without scoring a goal.
Both teams are quite closely matched but given how Arka haven't won at home but now 6 games and Korona are in a better position I think this should go the way of the hosts. Arka have signed good players and played ok so far, they are due a result and odds are ok to take.
Pick-Ajax Too Win//FT// 1-0
Category- Europa League – Playoff
Ajax will host Legia Warszawa at home in the Amsterdam ArenA for the return of the Europa League Play-offs. First game between these two clubs ended in 0-0, although we had to say that Ajax scored a goal but the referees didn't saw it correct. First game wasn't really nice to watch, Legia tried to stop Ajax from scoring a goal and Ajax had some trouble to break through the wall of Legia defenders.
Ajax player Kenny Tete received a red card in this game so he will be suspended. Other players who won't play from Ajax side are Cerny, Clement, de Ligt and Sinkgraven. Only Sinkgraven was actually a 'real Ajax 1' player this season. Others played most of the time with Jong Ajax. Ajax could easily replace Tete with for example Riedewald, one of the talented youngsters from Ajax.
In 2015, these two clubs already met eachother in the same stage of the Europa League. At home, Ajax beat Legia with 1-0 and the return ended in a 0-3 victory for Ajax. From my opinion, Ajax is a better team as they were 2 years ago. Although they don't play very good in all of their games, somehow they know to win it.
This weekend Ajax played a tough away-game against Vitesse. They managed to win this game thanks to a goal of Davy Klaassen, who also missed a penalty. Legia lost at home from number 15 (out of 16) of the Polish League with 1-3.
Ajax at home, supported by thousands of spectators will try to break through the Legia wall. Think Legia will defend and try to score from a counter, while Ajax will put a lot of pressure on the Legia deffence. At the end I think Ajax got a lot more individual quality and will win against Legia.
Pick-SevillaToo Win//FT// 2-1
Category- AFC CL
Sevilla will be hoping to take full advantage of Leicester Citys horrific form, when they welcome the english champions on Wednesday night. The spanish outfit are 3rd in the league and boast and playing good football. They will be happy to have been matched up against a Leicester side that is far from the united force that shocked world football last season, and i expect will be eager to secure their quarterfinal ticket at home.
Leicester have performed very well in the champions league thus far, winning their group and progressing into the knockout stages with ease, but those performances have been absent in the league, where they currently sit 1 point above the relegation zone, with fixtures against Liverpool, Arsenal and a reformed Hull coming up.
Leicester had a chance to boost moral this weekend but a defeat to 10men Millwall hasn't helped moral.
They will be up for this fixture though, as i expect players will hope good performances could help market themselves away from the sinking ship.
Judging by currant form, team strength, international experience as well as home/away form, Sevilla are 99% favorites.
I've chosen a straight forward win, because the stage could bring much needed fight into the Leicester squad, making them tough to break down, while the pace possessed by their attacking could give any team problems if given enough space.
here there is nothing to be said Sevilla gets a match 99%
Pick- Brisbane Roar Too Win
Category- AFC CL
Brisbane Roar comes into in game on a back of a very good point achieved in Perth. They are on a good run of form as they are currently unbeaten in last 7 games. They got into the group stage by with a resounding 6-0 win over Philippines side Global and big spending Shanghai Shenhua 2-0 away.
Muang Thong United just started their season. They got off to a good start by defeating Bangkok Glass and Sukhothai. Since then, they have announced last season top striker and 1 of the league best ever player Cleiton Silva has been sold to chinese club Shanghai Shenxin. The transfer fee is rumoured to be a thai record US2.8 million. Midfield dynamo Sarach Yooyen also got injured against Sukhothai and will be out for 5-6 months.
Cleiton Silva and Sarach Yooyen will be huge loss for Muang Thong. They also just begin their season so it's unlikely they are totally match fit. Brisbane Roar should really be looking to take all 3 points if they want to do well in the ACL considering the reasons I stated above. Muang Thong is also the weakest team in this group with Ulsan(Korea Rep) and Kashima Antlers(Japan).
The -1 odds is available at marathonbet now and 1×2 @ 1.62 is available at bet365. The odds is likely to drop further imo. If you like the play, I suggest getting in early.
PS: The visiting team should be Muang Thong United. As the team is not named in the selection, I selected another Thai club as rep.
Pick- Over 2.5 goals//FT// 4-1
Category- Italy Serie A
Roma is playing really well at the moment and it could be said that the team is doing just fine in all competitions. They come from a 2:0 victory away from home against Crotone last weekend, three pointer that they took in a really convincing way.
Nainggolan brought the visitors into the lead in 40th minute, while Dzeko doubled up and sealed the victory in 77th minute. Overall, players of Crotone had their chances, but Roma always knew what they wanted with the ball to their feet and proved to be way more experienced side. During the midweek they crushed Villarreal 4:0 on the road in Europa League and secured the progress to the next phase. Roma is ten points behind leaders from Juventus and need a victory badly here in order to stay in touch with them.
Roma is set to play in 3-4-2-1 formation with Dzeko set as central striker, plus Salah and Nainggolan just behind his back as offensive midfielders. Right defender Alessandro Florenzi (9/0) continues to be injured and will miss the rest of the season.
Torino broke their ugly streak of five matches without a victory in Serie A, as the team won over Pescara last weekend at home with a 5:3 result. Quality difference between two teams was very obvious as the hosts had 5:0 lead after first sixty minutes of the match (goals from Falque, Ajeti, Ljajic and two from Belotti).
However, once they got such a huge lead, the team switched to a bit more defensive approach and conceded goals due to lack of concentration allowing Pescara to reduce to bareble 5:4 defeat. Torino is now at ninth position, having ten points less than Europa League placed Inter and Atalanta and need to improve further if they are to fight for the European positions.
Visitors from Turin will be playing in quite offensive 4-3-3 formation as usually, using Ljajic and Falque as wingers, as well as Belotti as central striker. Midfielder Joel Obi and defensive midfielder Mirko Valdifiori are injured.
Roma have scored at least 2 goals in their last 7 home matches against Torino.
Roma remains a favorite in this one, but in my eyes Torino remains very quality side with a lot of potential in attack. Both teams to score, but at the same time Roma to prevail is my choice for this one. I wouldn’t be surprised even to see both teams scoring more than once.
PickNeftochimic Too Win//FT// 2-0
Category-Bulgaria .1 League
Neftochimic Burgas will host Montana in the opening round of the Bulgarian First League second part of the season.
Head coach Hristo Yanev made a lot of changes in his team during the winter break. The team was left behind by some players including centre back Marco Randjelovic, midfielder Rumen Rumenov and the retirement of goalkeeper Stoyan Kolev. The arrivals at Neftochimik are looking more than promising with winger Vladislav Romanov, centre back Iliya Milanov and midfielder Galin Ivanov from Levski. Hristo Yanev will be looking for a strong start of the second half of the season with a strong performance against the weakest opponent in the league.
Montana are sitting on the bottom of the league with 9 points and 6 points away from their current opponents above them. Montana made a lot of changes to their team in the winter break. With 16 new players arriving at the club and 14 going out of it. I won’t go trough all their transfer business because of obvious reasons but I’ll cover a few. Few key players left the club. Choco a Bulgarian champion with Ludogorets left the club to join Lokomotiv Plovdiv. Veteran and fromer Bulgarian international Marquinhos also left the club. These two I believe are the biggest setback for the team. Manager Rumen Panayotov is trying to cover their absence but the new signing are nowhere near that level. Daniel Gadzhev will be expected to fill the hole left by Marquinhos but just looking at their playing history speaks for itself. This team looks destined for relegation more than ever.
Neftochimik must get the 3 points here. They have no other option. They are playing against the weakest team in the league at home at the start of the second part of the season. This has to be their moment otherwise they will have very hard times staying up. My pick here is for Neftochimik Bugras win.
PickBraunschweig Too Win
Category-Germany Bundesliga 2
Going to take this bet now as odds may drop in the coming days.
Braunschweig are third in the league and are real contenders for automatic promotion to the Bundesliga but know that they need not slip up especially at home where they have been particularly strong. Their home form is the best in the league with 8 wins in 10 games and it has been the base for them being where they are in the league. So far this year they have averaged over 2 goals a game at home and that is why I see their being value in this bet because with strikers like Kumbela(11 goals in 20 games) you know that Braunschweig are always likely to find the net.
Aue are bottom of the league and in a right relegation scrap with only one point the difference between the bottom four clubs. They have scored nearly a goal a game on average but then are close to have conceded 2 goals per game on average on the back of that and is the reason they are bottom on goal difference. Their away record on paper doesn't look too bad but when they have come up against two of the top 5 away from home they have lost both games so shows that their is a slight class difference.
Braunschweig will really be going for a win and know where the back of the net is so I can see problems arising for bottom club Aue.
PickOver 2,5 goals//FT// 5-0
Category-Qatar Stars League
Most likely Al Rayyan will win this match because they are much better than Muaither, but I also think we will be couple of goals in this match. Brazilian center-back Nathan Ribeiro will return after suspension and the other key players should all be available. They have plenty of quality in attack with the likes of Soria, Tabata and Sergio Garcia.
On the other hand Muaither are coming after some good results and they are a little bit improved in front of the goal after signing Wilfried rain Yeso, Minori Sato and especially Ahmed Yasin. However, they are going to miss their excellent Brazilian defender Bruno Aguiar through suspension. The Brazilian was a key man for them this season and couple of times he was the man of the match. He's the leader of the defense. Also, regular left-back Mohammad Zowayed is injured.
Pick–Real Madrid Too Win//FT// 4-1
Category- Champions League
Real-MadridVSNapoli Real Madrid have a great record in this competition and rarely disappoint playing at home in these big european games. They have won 8 of their last 9 home champions league games.
Real seem to have recovered from a little blip winning their last two games both by 2+ goals. They won their last home game 3-0 over Real Sociedad who are a top 7 team in Spain, a very good performance.
Napoli are a good team but I don't see them in the same league as Real or even Juventus in their league. They have lost both away games vs top 5 opponents they've faced this season interestingly.
Napoli are always good going forward but also equally poor in defence, just 1 clean sheet in 10 away games also backs that up. I think they can score here but I also think they will concede a few goals.
Napoli had a very easy group with Benfica, Besiktas and Dynamo Kiev, no real big testers. I think they will really struggle here against a Real side finding their form again. My bet is 3-1 to Real.
Pick-Fulham Too Win//FT// 3-2
Category- England: Championship
Another Championship game for me and one that will be played at Craven Cottage. The game will kick off at 20:45 and will be played between Fulham and Nottingham Forest.
The home side currently lie just outside the play off places in 9th, they are just 6 points away from 6th placed Sheffield Wednesday. The home side have been in good form of late and will know that they need to take advantage of their remaining home games. They will need to put a good run together sooner rather than later if they are to stand any chance of getting into the play off places!
It’s more Fulham’s home form that stands out to me, they head into tomorrows clash with Forest after winning their last 3 home games, these wins were against Premiership side Hull City as they beat them 4-1 in the cup to set up a clash with Tottenham on the weekend! They also beat Barnsley 2-0 and on the weekend just gone they managed a remarkable 3-2 victory against Wigan! They left it late to get all 3 points as they found themselves 2-1 down at half time, however, a 94th minute goal from Kebano secured a vital win for Fulham and I have no doubt this will give the whole squad a massive boost of confidence!
Not only the win on the weekend stands out as a confidence booster, also the fact they are playing at home on the weekend also when they welcome premiership title challenges Spurs to Craven Cottage! This clash to the players will mean that they have to fight for their place to play against one of the best teams in the country, if I were the Fulham manager I’d let my team know that if they perform they almost guarantee their place in the side vs Spurs!
The visitors have had another poor season by their standards, Forest seem to be a club on the down! They’ve sold a couple of star players in recent weeks and also don’t seem to have spent as much as they have available.
The one thing they do have is Brit Assombalonga seems to have been scoring goals again, however, if he stays fit for the remainder of the season I’d expect him to be snapped up. He’s a great striker and is capable of playing in the Premier League for sure.
Forest have a poor run of away games recently, they head into this clash having not won an away game since they beat Barnsley 5-2 at Oakwell, this game was played on 25th Nov 2016!! Since then Forest have lost 6 and drawn 1 away from home. The draw they managed was a 0-0 draw vs Birmingham.
Like my other prediction for tomorrow, I see some value in a Fulham win here and I think the price of 1.62 with iceland1x2.com
Pick–Eibar Too Win//FT// 4-0
Category- SPAIN: LaLiga
In this La Liga fixture Eibar will host Гранада \Eibar are 8th with 32 points. They have been in good form lately, having lost only three times in the last twelve competitive games, two of them being against Atletico and one against Barcelona. That is still a great record considering the strength of those two teams. They are coming into this game on the back of two convincing wins. First they beat La Coruna 3:1 at home, after what they beat Valencia on the road 4:0. It was unexpectedly high win for Eibar, but they took their chances and left with all three points. Enrich gave visitors the lead in 28th minute, and after Valencia had been left with ten men, the game had only one direction and Eibar recorded another win. For this game they will be without Galvez, Junca and Riesgo who are injured.
Granada are 19th with 13 points. After seven competitive games without a win, on Monday they beat Las Palmas 1:0 at home. They got the lead in 17th minute, and tried to limit Las Palmas until the end. They succeded in that, since Las Palmas didn`t have much chances, and Granada left the field with all three points. Despite that win, they are still pretty far from the safe zone, with only Osasuna being worst than them this season. Away from home, they have been hopeless this season, managing to record only three draws, without a single win. Their goal difference on the road is 9:33, which makes them the worst team in La Liga when visiting. They will be missing injured Krhin and Silva.
Eibar are clear favourites for this game, and rightfully so. They are by far the better team than Granada, and they are in much better form. Also, they are playing at home, and with Granada`s terrible away record, Eibar shouldn`t have too much problem here. Hosts are coming into this game after two convincing wins, and I think they will continue their winning streak here. I can`t see how Granada could take anything from this game, and I believe Eibar will have what it takes to take all three points here.
Pick–Villarreal Too Win
Category- SPAIN: LaLiga
After a run of really poor results and six matches without a victory in LaLiga and Copa del Rey, Villarreal improved two weeks ago when they won at home over Granada with a convincing style and a 2:0 result. Even though they didn’t win in previous match last weekend, they still walked away with a positive result as they held the opponent to a goalless draw away to Sevilla.
Players of Sevilla had more of the ball possession and looked somehow more dominant, but Villarreal stood pretty well in the defense, while the hosts even missed a penalty kick and somehow were closer to obtain a victory. With this result, Villarreal kept the clean sheet for second consecutive match, as they continue to stand at sixth position still having Europa League exit, as the team remains six points below Champion League and needs a victory badly here.
Home team should be playing in 4-4-2 formation, with Sansone and Lopez as forwards. Alvaro Gonzalez and Roberto Soriano are back in the team from suspensions, while long term injured remains striker Roberto Soldado.
Malaga, on the other side, comes from their fifth defeat in last six LaLiga matches, as the team comes from a narorow home defeat at home against Espanyol 0:1. Only goal was scored already in seventeenth minute via Piatti, with the guests being more than satisfied with the result, while the hosts had more of the ball possession and chances created.
However, without much success as the result remained the same mostly thanks to very poor performance of the home side in attack. It’s nothing new for them, since the team really has entered a poor run now, having ten matches without a victory combined in La Liga and Copa del Rey (eight in LaLiga), with Malaga now being at fourteenth position far away from European tickets (thirteen points below), while relegation battle is nine points below the, so they still have a lot of time in order to re-group and improve.
Visitors are set to play in 4-2-3-1 formation, using Santos as central striker, plus offensive midfielders Juanpi, Fornais and Castro. Left back Juankar has a knock and remains doubtful, while injured are left defender Federico Ricca (12/0), as well as central defender Luis Munoz (3/0), midfielders Recio (9/0) and Zdravko Kuzmanovic (4/0) and forward Sandro Ramirez (17/7).
Villarreal have won their last 4 matches against Malaga.
Villarreal is not in a perfect form, but it seems that they are improving and that their time is coming again. Malaga, on the other side, comes in a really poor form and I can’t see them improving here. Villarreal seems to be more stable and should get the victory here easy or hard.

MansfieldVSHartlepool Fair play to Steve Evens. He dropped two levels to manage Mansfield Town in League 2 but clearly he knows a good deal when he sees one. Stags chairman John Radford has been true to his word and has provided the funds for Evans to bring in his own players and Mansfield now look a brilliant shout to make the play-offs at
the very least.
On a run of seven League games unbeaten and sat in eighth place, two points off the pace, the Stags will go into this spell of two home games in four days against struggling clubs confident they can edge up into the play-off spots. The Stags have kept five clean sheets in their last seven games and they have only conceded two more goals than the best defence in League Two. They also boast the third best points return in their last eight games so they will certainly go into the weekends fixture full of confidence.
Giant centre half Kyle Howkins was expected to be back in the squad for Saturday but will now play for parent club West Brom’s U23s on Monday with one eye on a return for Tuesday’s visit of Accrington Stanley. Otherwise Evans has a wealth of riches to choose from with winger Alex MacDonald and midfielder Alfie Potter hoping on full debuts after joining on January transfer deadline day.
Despite Steve Evans making all the noises about how Dave Jones has changed Hartlepool and that The Stags are wary of a rejuvenated Hartlepool this is a game they will look at winning. The Monkey Hangers are in no great shakes despite improving performances and they have no away wins from their last eight games. Since their last away win in October they have drawn two and lost six. Their last away match saw them lose to bottom of the table Newport County. It is fair to say that Hartlepool are in a poor state of form at the moment and Jones has a tough job on his hands. They have claimed just eight points from their previous eight games. They have lost half their away games this season and with the second worst defence in the division it is hard to see where the have the edge.
Pools are unlikely to deviate much, if at all, from the side which drew 1-1 with Yeovil. The team, which included debutants Louis Rooney and Andrew Nelson, on loan from Plymouth and Sunderland, performed with great promise. The only possible change could be a return for ex-Stags winger Nathan Thomas, who has recovered from a groin injury which kept him out for three months.
It is fair to say that both sides need the points for different reasons. However, Mansfield Town have made some very good January signings and now boast players like Matty Green filling the bench. They have much more fire power than the visitors and if they keep up the run of clean-sheets then I think this will be another straightforward 2-0 home win.

Sheffield Wednesday entertain Birmingham City in the Championship on Friday night and the only trade I can see in this game is a rock solid home win. The Owls are always very strong at Hillsborough and added to the fact just how poor Birmingham have been in recent months and it is somewhat strange to find such big odds and play.
So strong are Wednesday that when you exclude Hillsborough encounters with top-six visitors and the Owls boast a mightily impressive W21-D5 L2-return in front of their home supporters. Another home win would Ensure they remain in the play-off places come the end of the weekend and it'd put a bit of pressure on the sides below them to also pick up results. They've let in just 0.85 goals per game at home and only 3 sides in the division have a better overall defensive record. In addition to this Wednesday are also looking for a 5th consecutive home clean sheet here. The Owls have taken 13 points from their last five at home in the league are the home form is rock soild. The arrival of Jordan Rhodes will also give the home faithful a big boost so expect a decent atmosphere as he will surely make his home debut.
The hosts are boosted by the returns of Sam Hutchinson, Tom Lees, Morgan Fox and Will Buckley from injury and suspension, giving Carvalhal plenty of options.
After an appointment which both dismayed and surprised the footballing world Angleščina, Zola finally managed to register his first win as Birmingham City manager. This win was achieved at the 11th time of asking. However, their 1-0 home win over Fulham was not the most convincing and their goal did come after the visitors had been reduced to 10 men. The game should have been won by Fulham way before the sending off as perhaps a change of luck for Zola was much overdue! To be fair to Zola he did change both the personnel and the shape of the side (Blues made four changes to their side – handing debuts to Cheick Keita and Jerome Sinclair – and also switched system to a midfield diamond) so credit where it's due.
Birmingham City have won just one of their last 12 away games in all competitions and have lost 4 of their last 6. They average only 1:07 points per game away from home this term and have netted just 0.86 goals per game on their travels. In addition to this, only Bristol City have collected fewer points since Gianfranco Zola arrived at Birmingham and with the Blues picking up a sole triumph on their travels since mid-September, an away-day victory looks unlikely.
Sheffield Wednesday will be hoping to cement their position in the Championship play-off and the January additions of Jordan Rhodes and Sam Winnall gives them a bit of extra firepower. However, I think it is fair to say that Wednesday are looking stronger in all departments and are in much better form too. Expect a banker home win.

HJK welcomes Norrkoping in their second match of the Volkswagen Stockholm Cup. The match is played @ the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Hammarby`s home pitch. This is a friendly tournament and is used as a preparation for the upcoming national cup matches starting shortly. The league for both teams starts in april.
HJK played two Finish cup matches and won over Honka 3:2 and Gnistan 4:0. They also played against the hosts Hammarby and won by 3:2. The hosts dominated in first half but HJK woke up in second and deserved to win the game. They showed a nice passing football with plenty of chances created and the new players showed their potential. HJK has made an effort to bring in some experience players in the off season but also some young forces.
Norrkoping played 3 friendlies and have shown some huge defensive frailities but also the will to go forward in each match. They beat Frej with 6:1 but also lost to Mattersburg 3:1 and Shakhtar 6:1. Norrkoping is well known as a very attacking team and show that in friendlies as well. From their last 11 friendlies 9 went over 3.5 goals or more.
HJK has shown they can compete against the Swedish teams and I see them scoring a couple of goals. Over 2,5 goals is the bet.

Marseille are 6th with 33 points. They have been in mixed form over the course of whole season. However, their good home form is what kept them in upper half of the table. They have only one defeat in front of their fans this season, losing to Monaco 4:1. That makes them one of the best teams in the league at home, collecting 24 points with a goal difference 17:6. Last time out they lost when visiting Metz 1:0. It was a pretty uneventful game, with Marseille having 71% possession but nothing to show for it. In the end Metz took all three points, as Jouffre scored in 82nd minute, only six minutes after coming on. For this game they will be without injured Diaby, Hubocan, Kamara and new signing Evra.
Guingamp are 8th with 31 points. They have been in poor form lately, recording only one win in the last six competitive games. That win came in Coupe de France against third division Les Herbiers, and only after extra time. When looking at their away record, they are winless in the last six league games, having two wins over the course of the whole season. In the last league match, they lost in Nice 3:1. It was a game in which Guingamp haven`t been far from Nice, but their defensive mistakes cost them in the end. They will be without injured Privat here.
Marseille are coming into this game as favourties, and rightfully so. They have been pretty convincing at home this season, and will surely want to get back on track after loss in the last match. Gunigamp have been nelow par lately, even losing to Caen at home without scoring a goal. Therefore I think that Marseille deserve favourites tag and that anyything except their win would be a surprise. Odds are solid considering everything and I will take them.
Pick– Monaco Too Win //FT// 1-2
Category- FRANCE: Ligue 1
Montpellier was in a real downtrend of their form in previous two months as the tea suffered three defeats in a row in Ligue 1 and didn’t win in previous five official matches, but looked much better last weekend when they welcomed Bastia and took a narrow 2:1 victory.
They were just a bit better opponent for the whole game and did deserve more out of it, as they entered strongly and took the lead in 17th minute with a goal from Mounie, while Crivelli leveled up the result in 34th minute. However, Bastia did very little in attack in the second halftime and the hosts were more concrete to take over the lead again, this time in 64th minute with a goal from Mounie again. Montpellier is now at thirteenth position with three points more than red zone placed Angers and need to keep with good performances in order not to get drawn into relegation battle.
Defender Morgan Poaty (3/0) is injured, as well as defender Mamadou Ndiaye (2/0), midfielder Joris Marveaux (7/0) and forward Casimir Ninga (9/5). Doubtful for this match remains defender Daniel Congre (14/1) due knee prob
Monaco, on the other side, took a convincing 3:0 victory in front of own fans against Nice last weekend. It was their fifth match without defeat in Ligue 1, as the team continues to be leader at the table having three points more than second and third placed PSG and Nice.
This means that they need to keep on winning in order to keep their chances high in the tittle battle. They looked pretty well against Nice, as the team showed very organized performance against visitors who had much more of the ball possession, but failed in creativity in the midfield. Hosts punished them a lot in the second halftime, taking the lead in 47th minute via Germain, while Falcao in 60th and 81st sealed their victory. Forward Guido Carrillo (16/7) is only real injury absentee for the visiting team.
Monaco is showing much more during the previous weeks and overall during the season and I believe they are clear favorites ahead of this match. Players of Montpellier are looked far less reliable in defense and I can’t see them walking away with something here.
Pick– BTTS YES
Category- FRANCE: Ligue 2
Red Star came from points taken from the home against Le Havre last Friday night in a 1: 1 game. The game itself is fairly balanced with none of the teams showing much in the attack, but the team of Le Havre were better in the second half and took the lead in the 27th minute through Ferhat.
On the other hand, the hosts began to get better since then and earned his equalizer, which occurred in the 70th minute with the goal of NGAMUKOL. Before the end of the game, none of the teams looked like they were very interested in the chance to chase the winning goal. After this draw, Partizan is now the sixteenth position at the moment there are only two points above the red zone set Orlean.
The home team will be able to count on goalkeeper Arnaud Balijon, which is not carried out so far, as well as defender Ronald Zubar and Guy Demel. They also have a defense Formose Mendi (8/1) and Nabi Sarr (17/2) injured due to this.
AC Ajaccio, on the other hand, comes from a home victory against Clermont with 2: 1 result last Friday evening. They took the initiative early in the first half in the 12th minute through Nouri, remaining the better for most of the match. The visitors leveled the score in the 60th minute with the goal of Laporte.
However, the hosts really deserved winning goal although it came late, in the 90th minute scored again with Nuri. It is a fully deserved victory for them and should be reached earlier manner. It was also their third win in their last four matches, and the team is now fully escaped from the relegation zone, with nine points more than pushing set Orlean, but it should be on winning a positive way because the promotional set in Strasbourg is just six points above them.
AACC shows much more in the last few weeks and the team shows good offensive potential on the road as well. Draw not be ruled out, but I can see open football with lots of chances for goals
Pick–Braunschweig Too Win//FT 1-2
Category- GERMANY: 2. Bundesliga
Braunschweig-VSSt.-Pauli -Braunschweig receives St Pauli for the 19th round of 2. Bundesliga,
BraunschweigVSSt is 1st in table and this afternoon, Hannover, the 2nd, lost his game 1-4 against Greuther Furth. What could be a better tonic for Eintracht in this game? Eintrach has one of the best defense, one of the best attack, the club with less defeats and 10 victories in 18 games. This Sunday, the game is against the last one in table and it's unbelievable expect anything else but the three points for the home side.
In the first game in 2017, the get a happy draw in last minute against Wurburger Kickers. The goals appears in last minute, another tonic for this game.
St Pauli is the last one in table. With six points above the first team over the relegation zone, the worst attack of the league (only 11 goals scored in 18 goals) the future is dark. Only two victories since now; one in September, one in Decembe. For their first game in 2017, a home defeat 0-1 with a late goal. How could it affect more the moral of this team?
One of the best team of 2.Bundesliga will fight against the last one in table, who scored only 11 goals in 18 games since now. Can we see anything else than the victory of home team
Pick–Everton Too Win//FT// 6-3
Category- England Premier League
Everton broke a run of three consecutive victories in Premier League, but the team still managed to remain undefeated in an away game to Stoke City as they were held to a 1:1 draw. Their hosts took the lead in seventh minute already via Crouch, while the visitors leveled up the result in 39th with an own goal.
Players of Everton had a bit more of the ball possession, but it needs to be said that Stoke’s players somehow looked more concrete in attack – still, neither of the teams were willing to risk a lot towards the end of the game. Everton is now at seventh position at the table, having five points less than sixth placed Manchester United and the teams remains close to must win situation in order to keep the European exit chances.
Home team will be playing in 3-5-2 formation, using Lukaku and Mirallas as their strikers. Defensive midfielder Muhamed Besic (no performance so far) is injured from the start of the season, similar to defender Matthew Pennington. Forward Yannick Bolasie (13/1) is also injured, as well as other offensive player, Dominic Calvert-Lewin (4/0).
Bournemouth, on the other side, disappointed during the midweek, as the team suffered 0:2 home defeat against Crystal Palace without showing much of competivity during the match. Truth to be told, they had much more of the ball possession, but looked very poor in the midfield and couldn’t create many dangerous situations.
On the other hand, players of Crystal Palace looked very well in the defense and had great counter attacks during the match, as they took the lead in 46th minute via Dann, while Benteke sealed the victory in second minute of additional time. Players of Crystal Palace simply looked like a side they always knew what to do on the field and took the victory deservedly. The team is now at fourteenth position at the table, having seven points more than red zone placed Crystal Palace.
Visitors from Bournemouth are set to play in 4-2-3-1 formation, with Afobe most likely as central striker, plus King, Wilshere and Stanislas as offensive midfielders. Left back Charlie Daniels (20/3) failed to recover from a hamstring injury, while sidelined also remains forward Callum Wilson (20/6).
Everton are undefeated in 13 of their last 14 home matches (Premier League).
Everton is now undefeated in last six matches in Premier League and the team is now fired up to get back on the winning track in a ground where they lost only one league game all season. Bournemouth simply goes nowhere with their current form.
Pick–Bielefeld Too Win//FT// 2-1
Category- GERMANY: 2. Bundesliga
Arminia Bielefeld suffered 3:2 defeat last weekend away to Karlsruher, but it needs to be said that the game was one of more interesting of the round and that on some other day, it could have ended differently. The first halftime was quite a boring one and the things got more excited with the start of the second when the visitors took the lead in 51st minute via Klos.
Hosts quickly reacted with much better tempo and reverted the scoreline via Figueras in 63rd and Kempe three minutes later and even though the visitors leveled up via Schutz in 68th, they found a way to celebrate the three pointer via Hoffner eight minutes before the final whistle. This was third consecutive defeat for Bielefeld, as the team now stands only second from the bottom, being just three points below safely placed Karlsruher.
Goalkeeper Babouccar Gaye (who anyway didn’t perform so far for the first team ) and defensive midfielder Manuel Prietl (13/1) are injured.
Munich 1860 did celebrate a 2:1 victory over Greuther Furth last weekend and has started the second part of the season in the best possible way, but it needs to be said that the major fact happened in 49th minute when the visitors stood playing with a man less which made their job way more easier.
Guests even actually took the lead in 13th minute via Dursun, while the hosts replied deservedly from a penalty kick taken by Olic in 43rd minute. As the time progresses, players of Munich 1860 were more aggressive and more concrete, obviously having more power, so they reached the winning goal in 86th via Liendl. After this victory, the team now stands just above the relegation zone, having three points more than red zone placed Aue and needs to continue in a positive way.
Goalkeeper Jan Zimmermann (13/0) is injured, as well as midfielders Florian Neuhas (4/0), Nico Karger (5/0), Victor Andrade (7/1), forward Krisztian Simon (no performance so far) and striker Sascha Molders (16/3).
Even though Munich 1860 reacted with a victory last weekend, they are still far away from a quality needed in order to perform in a positive way for consecutive matches, especially away from home. Arminie Bielefeld is far away from a reliable side, but they are doing much better in front of own fans and this game comes as a really must win situation for them. I believe their chances are well over 70%

Huddersfield had an relatively easy game at home ten days ago when the team welcomed Ipswich and recorded much deserved 2:0 victory. They were better from the start, having much more of the ball possession and chances created, taking the lead in 41st minute via Brown, while Schindler doubled up the lead in 57th for the final result.
Players of Ipswich were limited to a pretty much defensive role and rarely did something in attack. Huddersfield is now at fifth position at the moment in Championship, having nine points less than second placed Newcastle United and that race seems to be finished, but the team needs to secure their play-off spot as they have only three points more than seventh placed Sheffield Wednesday and remain in a must win position. Last weekend the team took convincing 4:0 victory in FA Cup against Rochdale away from home.
Home team will be playing in 4-2-3-1 formation with Wells as central striker, plus Parra, Palmer and Kachunga as offensive midfielders. On-loan midfielder from Chelsea Kasey Palmer is back after sustaining a hamstring injury. Offensive midfielder Jack Payne (17/1) is suspended once again, while right midfielders
RegisterMacedonian players are welcome
Brighton, on the other side, took a narrow 1:0 home victory against Cardiff eight days ago in the previous Championship league match played. The game itself, was more interesting than what the final result says, as the home team looked better during the most of the game having much more of the ball possession, but also more chances created even though visitors from Cardiff also knew how to threaten.
Only goal was scored in 73rd minute via Hemed, while the visitors had not enough time to respond properly. This was fifth consecutive victory at home for Brighton, as the team bounced back after their defeat away to Preston with two home victories now (this one and previous against Sheffield Wednesday). They remain first at the table with two points more than Newcastle and five more than third placed Reading. Surprisingly, the team suffered 3:1 defeat against Lincoln City away from home in the FA Cup clash last weekend.
Visitors from Brighton are set to play in 4-4-2 formation with Hemed and Murray as strikers. New signing Chuba Akpom could be involved here, while right back Bruno and midfielder Dale Stephens are expected to feature coming from injuries. Left back Gaetan Bong (21/0) remains out with a knee injury, with right back Liam Rosenior (4/0) being unfit. Doubtful is forward Sam Baldock (21/6).
Brighton are undefeated in their last 9 matches against Huddersfield.
Actually, I expect goals from this one. Both teams are playing well lately and even though their defensive lineups are very reliable, but the odds are too good at this moment, while both teams have reasons to play openly this one. Huddersfield to defend their position and Brighton to remain at the direct promotional spot. Chances for over are at least close to break even in my eyes.
Pescara vs Fiorentina
Pick– Fiorentina Too Win//FT//1-2
Category- Italy Serie A
Pescara couldn’t do much more in their 3:0 defeat away to Inter last weekend, as the team once again got outplayed away from home and again showed that this season will be very difficult for them. Players of Inter were way more dominant and showed plenty of their skills, however also allowed the visitors to create some dangerous situations as well.
However, defensive lineup of Pescara didn’t look well, as they were losing with a 2:0 after the halftime thanks to goals from D’Ambrosio in 23rd and Mario in 43rd minute, while Eder sealed the final result in 73rd minute, as the home team cruised to yet another victory easily. Pescara of course remained at the rock botto position, having only nine points so far which is twelve less than safely placed Empoli and it’s obvious that they’ll most likely play in Serie B next season.
Pescara should be playing in pretty defensive 4-4-1-1 formation with Caprari set as central striker and offensive midfielder Bahebeck just behind his back. They will be without few players, including newly signed striker Alberto Gilardino. Injured are also central defenders Michele Fornasier (13/0), Hugo Campagnaro (14/2), full back Davide Vitturini (3/0) and midfielder Gaston Brugman (16/0).
Fiorentina, on the other side, had all the chances to walk away with a three pointer in a home game against Genoa, but the team made some stupid decisions during the match and paid the price of it, breaking a mini run of two victories in Serie A. Still, it has to be said that they looked far better for the most of the game and took the lead in seventeenth minute via Ilicic.
They even doubled up the lead in 50th via Chiesa and nothing looked like they’ll make a setback, but then two minutes cost them too much, as visitors leveled up the result thanks to goals from Simeone in 57th and Hiljemark two minutes later and even though Kalinic restored the lead in 62nd, hosts stood playing with a man less in 85th when Bernardeschi got excluded, while Simeone wrote the final 3:3 result from a penalty kick four minutes before the final whistle, making Genoa really lucky to pull out a point. Fiorentina is now at eight position, having six less than Europa placed Lazio and need a three pointer badly.
Viola is set to play in 3-4-2-1 formation, using Kalinic as central striker plus Ilicic and Valero as offensive midfielders. Midfielder Federico Bernardesci (21/9) is suspended, same as central defender Davide Astori (19/1). Injured are goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarsanu (20/0) and central defender Gonzalo Rodriguez (15/0).
Fiorentina is not in their best form, but still should be too strong for the home side that is obviously far below Serie A quality. Viola lost points a bit surprisingly few days ago and should be determined to get the victory here playing with all their effort from the first minute. Few missing players in the visiting team just make the odds even more attractive since I believe visitors have much more individual quality even if using more of bench players.Good Luck
Pick– Over 2,5 goals//FT// 1-2
Category- England Premier League
Arsenal are 2nd with 47 points. They have been in good form lately, managing to stay unbeaten in the last seven competitive games. Excluding 3:3 draw at Bournemouth, they won six games during that period, conceding only two goals in process. In the last league match they beat Burnley at home 2:1 with Sanchez converting penalty in 98th minute. On Saturday they thrashed Southampton in the FA Cup 5:0, with three goals coming from Walcott and two from Wellbeck. At home, they are unbeaten since Week 1 and will make sure to keep it that way. For this game they will be missing injured Cazorla, suspended Xhaka and Elneny who is on AFCON with Egypt.
Watford are 14th with 24 points. Thing haven`t been bright for them lately, having managed to record only one victory in the last nine competitive games. That win came against Championship side Burton in the FA Cup, so it didn`t really made things brighter for them, especially knowing that on Sunday they lost against Milwall and got knocked out. In the last league fixture they played 2:2 on their visit to Bournemouth, which was fair outcome, even though Watford were leading twice. They will be without injured Amrabat, Behrami and Pereyra
Arsenal are clear favourites for this game, and anything but their win would be a surprise. There is no value in my eyes in backing them at big handicaps as they are really unpredictable team. Instead, I will go with a selection which is unusual for me, and that is that over 2.5 Watford are 8 points clear from the relegation zone, and their survival should not come into question. Therefore they will not come to Emirates in desperate search of points, but rather play cautiously. Arsenal have problems with that kind of playing mentality, and it is not rare that they find a net only after a break or just before it. Their goal almost always opens up a game, and even they become more relaxed and often continue to score. I expect a fair number of goals here, maybe even from both sides, but I see even more value in backing more than 2,5 goals .Good Luck
